Astro for Facebook Messenger App Reviews

The best way for me to stay in touch with my Facebook friends without being constantly ON Facebook. Waiting for video links to be viewable in the chat window though. Thanks guys!

It is a very good application. Waiting for one update that fixed the last bug. I cant receive the new messages.

to be perfect it could permit resizing windows. I use macbook air (11) and the app occupy a good part of the display. sometimes its really annoying.

The app is gorgeous, but i can’t use it because it keeps closing every 3 minutes. It needs a fix, with urgency.

Please fix the problem. i can’t see when the other person is “writing”and "seen", please fix that

I use the Astro app for a while now, its good.. I love it! But in this last version it just crashes everytime I open. Ive already looked your suport page, and the tip there doesnt really help. Will you guys solve this problem? Thank you.

I was looking for an App to group chat with Facebook friends, and I hate the FB page and try to avoid it wherever possible. This does the job fine. It looks nice and clean and has a lot of option to adjust. Nothing to complain from my side.

Great app, haven’t found a better one for its purpose yet. Very good cusomer suppport, answered my question within 30mins.

This app is the only one i have found that supports facebook group chats!! The only downside is, that it is pretty ugly and would profit a lot from a UI design makeover xD

The best Facebook-Messenger for Mac OS X, but no updates since month!

In terms of a messenger App, I have to say that this app isn’t bad at all. I like the simplicity of the interface, and it does as advertised. My only gripe is that it does not show if a user is online or offline (or in the case of FB, Web, Mobile, or Offline). Perhaps that can be added into a future version.

There isn’t too much to say. You’re getting what you pay for. It’s simple to use. Just the way I like it

This App is amazing! Especially if you consider the fact that there is nothing for Group chat on Mac. A little more customization would be nice (so I could go incognito at work) but apart from that very solid!

I can customize almost anything but cant find out how to change the fonts! I also cant find the help and support (brings me to my Macs help menu). Am I missing something? Otherwise, great app!

Application keeps crashing down all the time. Do not waste your money!

When it works, it’s great. But it’s constantly glitching and I lose messages all the time. I’m constantly closing and reopening it trying to get it to work. It’s incredibly frustrating.

I would definitely recomend this application for messaging. It’s theme changing tool works very nicely and it is far more convenient than sending messages from the facebook website. One small bug that bothers me is that your profile picture in the chat doesn’t update, so currently I have a profile pic from a while ago. Other than this small bug, it is pretty much the ideal messenger.

If you are not online you cant send or receive a message. Slow to load

Used the free app but it kept crashing and bugging out, I downloaded the paid app hoping it would fix this. I love the app and it worked fine for a day, then started crashing more and more frequently. Now it won’t stay open for longer than 5 seconds without crashing.
