Astro for Facebook Messenger App Reviews

I have been trying to use this app to wean myself away from sitting on Facebook. Largely, it works for this. Except for two glaring issues: 1. One chat will continually show as ‘unread,’ despite being read. This is distracting and frustrating. I have even deleted the entire chat with the person affected, losing years of communication, only to have the issue persist. 2. Images never load. Ever. I have to either go to Messenger on my phone or open up Facebook directly.

Images are broken and when you load it, random conversations from months/years ago will randomly popup in your notification center for a minute or two. Really annoying. The app itself is pretty good, they just really need to work the bugs out.

I hate having the Facebook page open to chat, so this app comes in handy. Seems to work fine with few to no bugs, I just wish it had a spellchecker.

Please update! Its been half a year since the last update. 1. Fix the loading images problem 2. Fix the unread chat problem. Thanks. 3/5 because of these two problems.

There are several problems with this app: - Sometimes logging in doesn’t work and you have to try again. - Changing themes or font style doesn’t do anything. - Images are not loaded in the chat. - Messages sent appear twice with a loading bar that never goes away. This would be a really nice app, if it worked.

Looks like the app developers jumped ship on Astro sometime in January, because their social media is completely silent. Sent / received images no longer load. Unread messages don’t disappear from the notifications. Sometimes messages are slow or just disappear altogether. A shame since this was a really great app (with cute customization features) that really worked well for awhile.

This app worked well for a bit, then when facbook changed things the dev didn’t update. I’ts horribly broken. Avoid at all costs….

My friends sent me some pictures but I couldn’t see them because it’s never stop loading….! Please fix it.
